It now looks a little too anti-aliased. Plus, the slogan is not that cool. |

Tahoma, 8pt, bold 4lyfe.
In all seriousness, the logo now looks like it was designed by a 12 year old who just got introduced to his older brother's warez copy of Photoshop. Then again, it always did, so *shrug* |

justin Australian join:1999-05-28 Brooklyn, NY | reply to drew assuming you are not a 12 year old just introduced to photoshop, showing us all how it should be done would be welcome. I'm happy to use anything that clearly looks good. |

| I'm the classic internet critic.
I could do worse, not better. I appreciate Mospaw 's hard work on the logo, but I'm just saying it could be better. |

I've been using Photoshop for a bit more than 12 years.
I agree that it's not the most greatest specialist wonderfullest fanciest logo on the planet, but it works. |

drew Sorrow Expert Premium join:2002-07-10 Port Orchard, WA clubs: | No offense Mospaw, since I'm guessing you don't have a lot of creative leeway with it (standard shape, size, blue, etc.) but the original logo wasn't fantastic so working from there is hard. |

| None taken. I've been doing this long enough that a little criticism (or even outright trashing) of my design work doesn't hurt my feelings.
And as justin said, suggestions and improvements are encouraged. |

does look better, in my small opinion. The previously new logo's "DSL" part overshadowed the smaller print. It's easy to look past. It's probably "bad" enough that the URL contains DSL, but to have the logo give more weight to it, adds to it. And I'm not a DSL hater |
