[Tomato] DHCP disconnection with Intel 4965 wireless card on Vis

Hi,

I am having trouble with my wireless card to access the linksys router with tomato firmware v1.19.
Setup:

HP/Compaq 8510p laptop with Intel 4965AGN wireless card (latest driver), OS: Vista Enterprise, 32 bit. My wireless worked perfectly at my workplace (with corp network domain, dhcp, etc).

Wireless setup:

2 Linksys WRT54GL setup with Access point + WDS setup. (only 192.168.1.1 has the dns enabled), Tomato version: v. 1.19

I am using DHCP for the wireless access of the laptop. I also have a desktop which connects to one of the Linksys WRT54GL access point with wired connection. The desktop connection is rock solid. However, the wireless connection is another story.

When I used the laptop, the wireless access only lost its connection after a few seconds, most of the time. (Sometimes, the connection does stay for hours, so I really don't understand the behavior). Here is something I got from the vista event log.

The system failed to update and remove host (A or AAAA) resource records (RRs) for network adapter
with settings:
Adapter Name : {7AE938A7-02FF-4E30-B7DE-A4BF2E10FE31}
Host Name : lji2
Primary Domain Suffix : corp.foo.com
DNS server list :
...
Sent update to server :
IP Address(es) :
..
The reason for this failure is because the DNS server sent the update either (a) does not support the DNS dynamic update protocol, or (b) the authoritative zone for the DNS domain name specified in these host (A or AAAA) RRs does not currently accept DNS dynamic updates.

The log in the wireless router, contains something like

Jul 15 07:23:54 daemon.warn dnsmasq[3607]: Ignoring domain corp.foo.com for DHCP host name lji2
Jul 15 07:23:54 daemon.info dnsmasq[3607]: DHCPREQUEST(br0) 192.168.1.147 00:13:e8:ea:a3:51

I replaced my company name with foo.

I wonder whether this is known issue (and a solution for it).

Thank you,

lji
