I was thinking about updating to this version, but I'm currently still using the 'very' old 3.64_XD5. Would it be recommended to upgrade to an intermediate version first (if so, which one?) or will it be ok to update directly to this latest version, if I properly reset to defaults etc...
I'm also not sure if these latest firmwares are compatible with all Z5 models, since mine is pretty old already (dating back to 2004) and I vaguely remember there being an issue years ago with old model Z70 owners not being able to properly upgrade to some newer firmware (it was flash or memory related I believe), hence I don't know if I can assume that all Z5 models accept this latest firmware.
Thanks in advance for any usefull answers. |

| If you reset to factory defaults and reconfigure, there is no need to install and intermediate version.
The Z5 has always had the same hardware specification. Mine isn't all that recent (cfr. its bootbase) and runs the latest versions of ZyNOS quite happily. Take care,
