| Pur a Sierra 597 air card__Antenna connector Question+Answer
Sierra says it uses a " SMK TS-9 external antenna connector. Anyone know if this is the same as the connector on the Sierra 881 Aircard? or maybe Franklin 680 ?
Note; Just purchased a new Sierra Compass Air Card 597 USB on E-Bay from a seller who promised/mentioned that the ESN # was clean... So its ready to go on Millenicom...

| Hmmm have my New USB Sierra Compass modem and find that the Wilson # 359912 is not the correct connector. The socket on card has a female, center pin, receptacle. Gotta have an antenna connection with least around -100 DBm. to authenticate !

I'm not sure how much trouble it would be to have them switch the device from what you may have now though. My 595U bit the dust and I had to get them to activate a U720 Ovation which made me feel like I was being a pest - even though they very politely and quickly got that activated for me. Best customer service experience I have ever had.
