Hi Rose and welcome to DSL Reports. You should remove you e-mail address due to privacy/spam concerns.

Your basic configuration will look like the following.
Internet (ISP) -> DSL Modem (Speedstream 4200) -> Linksys (connected to the WAN port) -> client PCs connected either wireless or to an available LAN port on the router.

Once you have all the cable connected you will want to place your modem into bridged mode (please read this how to).

Then you will want to configure your router for PPPoE or DHCP which ever your ISP uses (DSL providers commonly use PPPoE). If it is PPPoE you will need to enter a user name and password provided by Windstream. If it's DHCP you should have to do anything.

At this point you should be able to make a wired connection to your PCs via a Local Area Network (LAN) cable connected to the router. Note the router has 4 LAN ports and 1 WAN port on the back.

To make a wireless connection you will need to search for the SSID being broadcast by your router using one of the PCs that has a wireless Network Interface Card (NIC). The default is Linksys, but you can check what it is under the wireless tab when logged into the router. Once you make a connection you should be able to browse the Internet. However you need to enable encryption such as WEP or WPA to ensure you don't let others onto your network.

I'd be happy to go into more detail if necessary. Let me know.
