NeOmega : So far, its only those three sites. AOL works, Ebay and craigslist works. I would think its some kind of cache, except I haven't visited microsoft.com in over a year.

I have tried typing the ip addresses acquired via tracert into my address bar.
NeOmega : What does microsoft.com, yahoo.com and myspace.com have in common? I cant access these sites main page for some reason, nor can I download from HP.

I can ping them, I can tracert them. But when I try to open them in IE or Firefox, it just hangs. Its not a broken SSL, because I can access secure sites just fine. Ive tried repairing the connection, reinstalling my DSL software, everything I can think of, I am at wits end. When I called them, they told me to "contact my manufacturer" I am the manufacturer, and they were clueless. Ive tried clearing my cookies, setting everything to default, I know it isn't spyware or a firewall problem, and the host file is empty.

I think its one of my sockets, but I cant remember how to repair them... or maybe corrupt DNS cache? (I dont know how to repair that either)

I can stream video, access site like money.cnn.com, gmail, lots of sites work, but this is frustrating me to no end!!!
