I got this around Christmas time for my notebook. Little did the gift giver know that my notebook would crap out gaming wise at the native resolution. I ended up getting a 17' a few months later.
Item is new in box (opened and used for all of 2 hours), with all packaging (styrofoam as well), including manual, vga cable, dvi cable, and power cord.)
I saw absolutely no dead pixels during the few hours of use.
The monitor's native resolution is 1680x1050, with a 2ms response time.
