| HDMI Noise
I'm playing blue-ray movies from my PS3. I've got the video going HDMI from the PS3 to the TV, and Optical from the PS3 to the audio receiver.
TV - Samsung LN-T4061F HDMI Monster 700
Anyways sometimes when when i'm watching a movie I can see some noise/grain...its more noticeable when i'm playing a game. Is there any reason why it would be doing this? -- Visit my website; »www.shaunkerr.com

| There are some blu-ray movies that have massive grain. But you shouldn't see any grain during gaming though - I could be wrong but I haven't notice any.. I have a PS3 connected to DLP TV via $7 HDMI cable.
If you pause the movie, and the grains stopped moving around (meaning you can still see it but not moving), it's the source. |

| reply to WhiteWizard Aside from the answer above, the only other issue would be hardware related. Start by trying a different cable (most likely). If that doesn't solve it, try connecting to a different TV. If it continues, it's your PS3, if it stops, it's your TV. -- Google is your Friend |
