 Hey David ... are they still disabling the option to play ripped to your harddrive HD-DVD's? I know I haven't upgraded since v7 build 3730a because of this.

Yeah, Blu-ray too.

But, you can still point the program at the m2ts(Blu-ray)files and they will play.

Issues fixed in this release:
Resolved video jumps forward 4 -5 seconds after resuming Blu-ray Disc playback.
Resolved video is distorted for 1 second.
Resolved BD Live issue, enabling playback of downloaded content.
Resolved BD Live playback issues for the Blu-ray Disc title "Transformers".
Resolved playback issues for the Blu-ray Disc title "Good Luck Chuck".

Still missing: ability to play ISO DVD movie image without having to mount the image first on a virtual DVD drive.

Don't make them ISOs myself, the VIDEO_TS folders play fine.

PowerDVD even sees the VIDEO_TS folder as a DVD.
I have found that if you do wish to convert the DVD rips, either straight MPEG2 or compress to XviD works pretty good.
PowerDVD will play either quite well

Have to admit I love PowerDVD, the only small item is that I thought I tried everything to force a play off the hard drive, after I get back from holiday I'm going to see if I can stick a 'Mod' in there so it will; should be easy enough to fool PDVD into thinking it's in the ROM drive.

 Skip the ISO part.
A ripped DVD creates a VIDEO_TS folder.
VIDEO_TS folders play just like a inserted DVD.

Plus, avast doen't like them one bit!
