After you log in, it would be nice to have the ability to Customize what page you see after you log in.
A "Customizable Options Page"
Instead of just seeing the same page over and over after the user logs in, this would give the user more options on what the user would like to see after logging in.
Here are some examples of what kind of control this would give the user, to diplaying a particular page automatically the user would set it up in the:
"Customizable Link Options Page"
An example below:
After log in Go Directly to:
1. Goto "PAGE (YOUR)" 2. Goto "Favorite Forums" 3. Goto "Updated Posts" 4. Goto "Buddies" 5. Goto "Posts" 6. Goto "Hot topics"
Or what ever the user specifies in the Options page, so that the user has the choice & ability to choose after logging in there favorite page to be displayed automatically.
For example when I login I would like to automatically see "Page" to be displayed automatically after I log in, without having to click on Members then Page.
You may like a different page to be displayed as shown above.
This instead of having to use the "mini bar" to get to the page you want. |

| Yes if enough people wanted this it could be done, but I just have my link to this website set to the page I want to see.
For example my favorites link I use to get here is set to »/postlist because thats what page I want to be taken to first. -- My Business website: MerrittConstruction.com | My Gaming Website: KensGaming.com |

The issue is when you log out you have to start over and click on the page you want displayed.
So those who log out would have to log back in and the shortcut would not work because BBR doesn't recognize you until you log back in. So you would need to login first, then click the buttons or the "mini bar" if you have it configured.
I am sure there are many who don't log out of BBR, so your suggestion works in that case. |
