| reply to hayc59 That type of command only works when the actual EXE file is in one of the few directory/folders that the PATH sets in the system variables. If it is in a Folder not set in the Path Statement, you will get that error result and should search for the file as instructed. If the file is found for example in "Program Files\Combo Fix\" folder (if it exists), then you would type in the Run dialog.....
"C:\Program Files\Combo Fix\Combofix.exe /u"
You always have to supply the full path to an EXE file unless you have its folder set in the PATH environment statement. -- Whats the point of owning a supercar if you cant scare yourself stupid from time to time? |
