[DSLR] Sea Dogs - Quests, Next Round Strategy, Other info.

I know I've been a little quiet in the forums lately. I made a post to the in game forums on WMP and I've been flooded with mail to deal with.

So... as I've started to gather info I thought I'd share with my fleetmates.

I have been asking about tips/tricks/strategy for the start f the next round and while info is still coming in the consensus thus far is that we need to focus on the following:

1) Train/Educate as fast as possible at the start of the round.
2) Get to level 5, get a new ship and get out of Tortuga as quickly as possible.
3) For the first week or so we should expect chaos. Attacks all over the place (against online of offline pirates, more on this in a minute).

Apparently after the first week or so some clear leaders will begin to emerge. Let's see if we can't be some of them.

I have also received some good information about quests, (where to find items, how to use them). It is suggested we keep them in our fleet forum on WMP and I agree. We could them herebut then they can be found/stolen by others Googling for WMP info. I had to promise to rewrite the document I received with the quest info so that it couldn't be tracked back to the player who gave it to me. As soon as I do that I will make a new topic in the fleet forum and add it there. If you have a specific quest question before then let me know and I will try and answer it.

On another note... I'm getting confused about where to post info. We have two threads on places on DSLR as well as the fleet forum. Personally I'd like to see the in game fleet forum used more and then pick one place on DSLR. While the [BBR] Clan Public may be more fitting I think the 56k lookout! thread will get us more attention and new fleet members, which will make us more competitive in the next round.

What do you all think?

Walter
