Hi there I use the MCV wireless out here in cayuga,the speed is slow and the equipment at the tower isn't reliable.Last night my system wasnt able to connect for close to 7 hrs and the one person i spoke to at tech support was like talking to a robot did not listen to what i was explaining to him.he was reading off a script in front of him for trouble shooting and did not have the art of conversation I wasnt impressed and it wasnt a fruitful experience.My dialup I had for 10 years was 99.00% more rreliable except it was slow.If only I had a company with good equipment like my dialup and the speed of MVC.Oh by the way at times i was told that my router was to blame so i purchased 3 different makes of routers to narrow down the problem but i still ran into the same issue.Thankfully I was able to return the routers since the frequency of the problem was always expected to happen within 45 days.Does anyone else out here have the same issues with staying connected?Modem just blinks and never seems to be able to connect. |

| reply to Not happy I finally have MCV contact me the other day to inform me my signal is very poor since the day i had the system installed roughly 5 months ago.I had service come to my home close to 7 times in that period of time and was told there is no problem that they can actually see at that moment or at the office equipment,so i took their word for it. Now I find out by a smarter service tech that my signal is very poor and that the working parameters for a working internet is -5 and up to +5 I was working with a signal of -3!.The next dayI am contacted by MCV and told a service person will come to see what is wrong.I had mentioned that my billing ought to be adjusted for the sub par service i was receiving,I was told that I will be contacted with a decision. Let see if they want to have my vote and yours for the "readers choice awards" let us see if they are worthy of such an honour!I will keep you informed on how this pans out since this can happen to anyone of you!This technician had the smarts to test my signal with the amplifier off!The first 3 techs never even thought of that. |
