Re: I wonder if these companies even read what's on DSLR said by fatmanskinny:Our community base provides excellent feedback on their service, how they may improve and more. They all do, despite having to sift through biased reporting (i.e. I couldn't find in the linked article where AT&T mentioned they were "finally" launching, nor did I get a sense of "I know it took us forever, but at long last we're here" connotation from the AT&T statements, but that sort of reporting is to be expected here.) Plus, companies have to sift through 80 "why do I have to pay money for services that I should be entitled to" and a few hundred "these companies shouldn't be trying to make money" (paraphrased, of course) comments before finding a few decent suggestions for improvement that haven't already been thought of or put into motion. The simple fact is that broadband, television, and cell phone service is predominantly dependent on geography - what works for some doesn't work for others; what's available to some isn't available for others. It boils down to who can offer the best service that meet your the consumer's needs, and you make your decision based on that. No big cable/telco companies are holding guns to anyone's heads making them buy their services, and voting with ones pocketbook is the loudest and most effective message a consumer can send, not a forum post. |
