Re: Internet Connection Drops At Busy Times Of Day Unfortunately you are using a router so no isp will give you support, unless its a router/modem combo that they supply, do you have noise filters on your phone jacks??
They go between your phone and the jack, don't put them on the modems line, the fact that picking up the phone kills your connection makes me think you have line noise, which would be affected more during busy times of the day, make sure you have noise filters attached to all phones and try buying new phonecords and splitters if you use them and buy good ones and that should fix your problem, i have had similar probs in the past and that fixed it for me, unfortunatley aol support is totally useless. |
