| [Wireless] "No Internet connection"..Need Help
Here is my dilemma...I have an old Linksys BEFW11S4 currently hooked up and working fine with dhcp enabled., i am trying to upgrade to a WRT54GSV4, it is setup and configured the same way as the B router but when i connect it it will not get an internet connection in dhcp mode, it will get a connection if i switch it to a static ip config. but no go with the dhcp, i have current firmware in both units, just a bunch of 0.0.0.0 at the status page, any ideas to fix this would be appreciated.

@rr.com | Reset or power cycle your DSL/cable modem with the new router attached. If the router doesn't get an IP after the modem is back on, power cycle the router as well. |

@rr.com | reply to kg Another option would be to clone the WAN MAC address of the old router onto the WAN of the new router. |
