| Possible scam
I got a letter in the mail the other day saying my account was past due. I didn't think it was right cause they have credit card info to pay my internet charge each month. I called Verizon and they told me my account was up to date.
They could not find the listed phone number that was written in the letter. 877-431-7023. Sounds and acts like verizon when you call it but it isn't. The letter gave an address in Trenton NJ but the envelope says Irving TX but the mailed from zipcode 27704 didn't match either address.
Has anyone else seen one of these letters or am I the only one here that has seen it. If I'm the only one I can try to hook up my old scanner and scan it. |
