Want To Emport Thunderbird Address To Gmail Contacts?

I want to get my Thunderbird addresses or contacts to Gmail contacts. How can I do that? Advice much appreciated, thanks!

PS-I exported as CSV my address book and then imported to gmail. There were 100+ entried but said no addresses found. I know there were e mail addresses, why does it say not found in Gmail??? Thxs.

The 2 things you must have for it to import into GMail are an e-mail address and the Nickname fields filled in. With these 2 fields filled in it will import them and display everything that was filled in also.
attached are 2 screen shots of the minimum and maximum fields filled in.
