| 9800gtx connection?
I installed a GeForce 9800 gtx a few days ago on a ASUS M3N-HT mb.
It's working great but there's a small 2 pin connecter on the same side of the 2,6 pin power connecters.
Couls somebody tell me what thats for?

Actually that sounds like the SPDIF interface. Does your card have an HDMI output? If so this is to connect your sound card with your graphics card so it can provide audio through the HDMI cable. (At least that's what it is on my friends 9600GT, my GTX280 does not have an HDMI outport, nor does it have the 2 pin connector on the edge of the card) |
