| Sound Card & XP
Hello,
I got a friend that has the following sound card; Creative Sound Blaster X-FI Xtreme Audio 24 BIT Sound Card 7.1 PCI-E X1 OEM/ »support.creative.com/Products/Pr···me+Audio
The drivers on the website are supposed to work with windows XP but when he installs it, it will give him the error saying he needs to upgrade to a newer version of Windows (ie Vista)
Just wondering if there are any modified drivers to work with xp?

| reply to bryanviper I'd try to find old drivers for the card. Preferably pre-Vista.
You could try the drivers here: »www.driverheaven.net/audio-gener···rds.html
Creative really sucks at support. How hard would it be to offer driver archives??? |

| reply to bryanviper Yeah, I checked the creative forums and there are posts about this also. It appears the drivers are only on the CD at this time. So you either need to find someone that has uploaded the driver or request a new CD from creative.
