I love mine. Just like using a monopod basically, works quite well. I also have the Slik pod like these and it works wonderful, but is no longer made. :(

Personally I get better results with a monopod because the one leg of the monopod combined with my two legs makes a very steady tripod.. The bushhawk, while nice and does work, only adds more weight to the setup in my opinion.
