| Can't hear incoming calls
My majicjack is inconsistent in that I cannot always hear the other party. Whether incoming or outgoing, the problem seems to be random. More often than not, I can't hear the other party.
I tried eliminating my wireless router and spent over an hour with a majicjack agent changing system registry entires, etc but still no luck. Any ideas? Thanks! |

| The following link provides a way for you to test your magicJack sound quality. TigerJet Test Program
It is also important for you to realize that sound quality is to a very large extent governed by how consistent your ISP provides bandwidth -- magicJack requires a minimum of 80Kbps going both ways [down-link/uplink] constantly and consistently -- if your bandwidth is erratic in either direction then your sound will be erratic as well. Your Internet connection must be capable of constantly and consistently providing magicJack with a maximum of 130Kbps down-link bandwidth and 130Kbps uplink bandwidth for best sound quality. IF your ISP cannot provide that constant bandwidth requirement for magicJack to use your sound quality will suffer. -- David Mozer IT-Expert on Call Information Technology for Home and Business |
