What part of "I did just as it said and it still *expletive* up" did you not understand?

That's the whole problem here. I follow what these install guides say I should do
to the letter and then have a problem where it's saying the app I'm supposed to be running doesn't exist, or that some stupid library or whatever doesn't exist and it doesn't want to go install/get it. And in every single case, that xorg file is either blank, or in the case of my last install, it just keeps booting into "low graphics mode" as Ubuntu calls it, then refuses to let me use a proper video resolution/refresh rate.
If I can't get this thing up and running, the system's going in the trash. Plain and simple; I've got enough on my plate between college and work to putz around with this thing's idiosynchrosies. That's not to say I don't appreciate the help - honestly, I do - but I've had up to my eyeballs in the arrogance of users like you. Either cut it or leave it, because I don't want to read or hear it.
Listen pal, many people here have tried their best to help you and all you can do pout. It may be best for you to take your system to someone and have them install what-ever OS you decide you want to run and be done with it.
