tripletaco : I just switched from Qwest to Wave here in Bremerton. Got on a promotional deal for $29.95 a month for a year 6MB/down 1MB/up. Half the rated download speed or less at best anywhere (exception Seattle good, San Francisco 2/3). Is this normal?

As I remember DSL didn't seem to degrade as much, the farther away your check point got.

Beringse : Second day with Wave here in Sequim, the speeds are pretty fast. During install the techs ran a new thicker gauge line from the outside pole which helped the pipe I guess. Slowest times are from 4-7 PM avg 9, fastest are early AM avg 11 (using wireless connection).
--
Leos rule!
