| graphics and other things acting up... plz help
Hi everyone! Thanks for looking at this I hope someone can help me. I am having and issue with my pc (obviously lol) Some of my graphics became very disoriented and discolored at times and when I am playing Lineage 2 I keep crit erroring nearly 1 time every 1-3 hours... this is not normal at all. I have had this PC for some time now and never had an issue with it... odd thig is that I can't run more then 1 client of the game at a time on this pc and it has way better specs then my other pc's and they can run 3 clients each!
Is there a website that can diag my pc for free? If not at least run a stress test on my video card, ram and psu. I am running a AMD 64 X2 Dual core 4000+ 2 gigs of ram windows xp media center edition SP 3. (just did all the updates and nuthing worked) NVidia GeForce 8600 GT and a 24" Gateway Samsung FPD2485W TFT LCD HD Monitor product code: 7005576R Model: LP2407
Please note: I have tried to update the game, windows xp, and the monitor sorftware... the only thing that wasn't sucessfull was the monitor softwear. All I could find on it was the Pivot softwear wich I'm sure wont help anything at this time. I doubt the video card drivers have been updated but it has been working fine till now plus on my other pc when I updated my drivers last month it made everything go nuts and I had to revert to my old drivers and that wasn't easy to find. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Also here is the error code I get from L2 incase anyone is familar with the game: PosCode : LS1:80835:146738:-3537 2/1

| I'm not familiar with that game. Are you having issues with anything else, or just that game? From your description of the screen, it sounds like a failing or overheating video card. I would start by ensuring your pc is clean and all of the fans are operational, especially the videocard fan.

| Unfortunatly that game is the only thing that pc is used for. So I really have no idea if it would have issues with anything else. I ran a stress test on it and ram test and nothing happened... the ram test corrected 1 error or so it said... I been running the game for a while now and it hasn't crashed the game yet... not sure if the issue was fixed but only time will tell I suppose.
Also we cleaded that pc out about 1 week ago so it shouldn't be dirty I hope lol To me it sounded like a video card issue as well... especailly when I saw the distorted screen and colors and such at verious times while playing the game. But it hasn't happened since then not sure what to think of it all =/
