| Insight into FVS114 lockups
Greetings... just joined this forum after frustration with FVS114 and its frequent lockups.
I noticed that there was a boatload of traffic that had no apparent meaning when it was locking up.
An analysis using Wireshark was instructive:

For the Wireshark screencap and the TCPdump format file. Bottom line -- it appears to be frantically searching for other netgear routers to communicate with. Given that there aren't any in my network, and I imagine that's the common case, it'd be nice to be able to turn that off.
It'd also be nice if I could get Netgear to pay attention to this! |
