Hey guys I have a very unusual issue. I recently upgraded my video card (only change I have made) and now, seemingly at random, my pc makes a static electrical-type noise. It seems to be coming from the onboard nic's ethernet port at the back of the pc, but I'm not 100% certain. When I unplug the ethernet cable or the dvi cable (either one) going to the video card, the noise immediately goes away. The weird thing is when I plug everything back the noise does not immediately return. It is only present when the pc is shut down. If I turn on the pc the noise goes away as well. Any ideas what could be wrong? Should I take the video card back and exchange it? I got an open box video card so I'm worried. I tested the card out playing multiple games for hours, including Crysis, and it performs great without any problems. Please let me know what you guys think. Oh I also upgraded my DSL service from 768 K to 3M during the same time. Not sure if that has anything to do with anything but I figured I would report that as well. Let me know what you guys think I should do. Thank you!
