| Floppies have a limited lifespan, and don't age very well. You really shouldn't trust them to important data. Ideally, you should rotate new disks often, IF you can even find 3.5in. floppies anymore. That said... SOMETIMES, you can retrieve data from them. The chances are slim, but it can be done. I use an app called Bad Copy Pro. »www.jufsoft.com/badcopy/ Think in the future, though, about keeping that data on another type of media. Floppies have, alas, gone the way of the 8-track tape. |
