[Wireless] WRTU54G-TM What is the "key" button on top????

I just got the new T-Mobile @Home service which uses the Linksys WRTU54G-TM router. There is no manual or anything with it but there is a button on the top which I assume has something to do with wireless encryption since it displays a Key symbol. When it is pressed, the wireless light turns orange and blinks for a while.

I've searched on the Linksys site as well as the T-Mobile site and can't find any info on what this button does or how it is to function.

Anyone have a clue?

From the manual found here on page 14, "Pairing - Green. The LED lights up green when wireless security is enabled. When the Pairing button is pushed, the Pairing LED flashes amber, then when the pairing is done, the LED lights up green."

Sounds like another name for Linksys Secure Easy Setup (SES) which you can Google for more information.

I downloaded that manual that your link pointed to (the PDF file) but nowhere does it mention this button, page 14 is the start of the Web based configuration settings.

After looking at the Google info, it appears you must have not only a Linksys SES router like this, but also all of the wireless peripherals must be Linksys SES... so this button is pretty useless for most setups.

Thanks for the info.
