Greed?

Shareholders expect companies to be as profitable as legally possible.

Your 401K or IRA most likely has some AT&T shares... as stock or part of some mutual fund.

Their "greed" => your retirement.

Ahh, a little greasing of the skids in the marketplace of ideas. I guess that could help curry some favor with this board, but isn't it a little wasted?

Really, your message is better targetted by lobbyists to their congress critters.
