[XP Pro] Remote desktop connection

I need some help with remote desktop connection . I have 3 PC and 1 laptop two of my PC are running XP media with SP2 patch, one has XP pro with SP3 my laptop has vista premium.I am able to connect from any PC to my two PC with XP media that has sp2 patch but none can connect to my PC with Sp3 patch. I check all my setting on my SP3 XP PC they seems to correct. I don't have an firewall except for the windows one. I configure my router for remote connection not sure what is wrong? What happen when I try to connect to my PC with XP pro SP3 it trys to connect then it just stops no error nothing.

Check Windows firewall. I use it all the time and remote desktop port 3389 usually needs to be added to the firewall. I remote into more than one sp3 box and they all work the same as sp2.

I'd disable it for the time being and Avast as well and give it a try.

Also, what video driver and version is on the computer with SP3?

Certain versions of video drivers, including recent NVIDIA Forceware drivers may be the issue, as reported in the following thread:
