The unions are there to protect the city's employee's, I work for a philadelphia AFSCME local and I see the work that they do practically everyday.
The building trade unions that the wifi people will have to deal with will demand money for their leaders to get anything done. Ask Rick Mariano or Bob Dougherty. I know because I live in Philly and witnessed the corruption for many, many years.
