Arbitrary Text join:2001-12-30 Backyard ·1and1 ·Verizon Online DSL ·Comcast	[XP Home] Registry Problems I was having problems reaching a few websites and decided to do some cleaning up and repairing. When I ran Advance Registry Doctor I came across 3 corrupted registry entries that cannot be repaired automatically by ARD because access is denied to ARD. HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{D27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000}\InprocServer32 HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{D27CDB70-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000}\InprocServer32 HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{D4304BCF-B8E9-4B35-BEA0-DC5B522670C2}\LocalServer32 How can I properly repair these entries manually? They are all related to C:\WINDOWS\system32\Macromed\Flash\FlashUtil9f.exe. Any and all help is appreciated.

ChiTang Premium,MVM join:2002-08-23 Alhambra, CA	Use regedit, right click on those keys and choose "persission", then add yourself with full rights. -- I used to be indecisive, now I am not sure.

I don't think the average Joe will be capable of performing all of the things that Adobe says you need to do to install or update. I'm glad I only had to edit 3 entries instead of the 35 or more entries on the Adobe fix. Thanks.

MIXZ1 join:2001-01-02 Mexico ·Prodigy Infinitum	Don't you love it when you can fix something with 10% of the "official" effort? Of course then you have to wonder why the vendor specifies 35 steps to the 3 that worked. Then the doubts begin. Will this bite me later? The joys of the Windows registry can make a person nuts!
