| Time to market is the point The issue is when, not if Clearwire becomes a threat to at&t mobility (and potentially DSL). at&t has very savvy state-based government affairs folks who protect their rights. They reward legislative and political prowess as much as technological innovation. Their intent is to stall, because they know that the innovative capabilities of Sprint and Clearwire, with this network, might cause some of their current users to leave and never return (just like they did in droves with local phone service). One can only hope that the FCC can discern truth through their blue and white (or is it black with a tint of red?) lenses. |
