Re: [XP Home] MS Malicious Software Removal Tool

Microsoft in their description of the Software Removal Tool seems to think that it removes "specific, prevalent malicious software—including Blaster, Sasser, and Mydoom—and helps remove any infection found." Ref:»www.microsoft.com/security/malwa···ult.mspx

I found that the title of this software is misleading and it annoys me when MS keeps flogging it in monthly Windows updates. If you read the fine prints, all MS says is the software will indicate if your machine is infected and you still need to get antivirus/antimalware programs to clean up. It does not remove squat!

What's your opinion?
