| Dual Network Router
Ok, here is our scenario:
- We own a business that is roughly 12000 square feet (mostly open) that entertains children and adults
- We live upstairs in the same building as the business
- Currently have DSL and a few personal and business computers hooked to the network (wired and secure wireless)
- We want to open up wi-fi to customers but keep them separated from our network
I thought about taking the current ISP provided router and turning the wireless off and water down the settings, hook and configure two wireless routers (one for home/business secure network the other for public wi-fi) then buy two wireless bridges to extend the range of the wireless (one for home/business and one for public wi-fi)
This sounds like a lot of equipment and probably the cheapest way to do it, but is there a decent wireless router available to take one WAN connection and break it down into two separate networks and each network able to be on a separate IP range? More or less two routers built into one.
If you have any other suggestions they would be taken kindly.
I want to get out of this in a decent price range where you dont have to buy corporate solutions. |
