This is very easy to do and a great way to protect your privacy from snooping ISPs and crooks trying to read your private emails.

Thank you for the links. It's really easy to send encrypted mail using X.509 certificate.

There're some questions though - what will happen to email box containing encrypted emails when certificate expires (in a year?) Do those encrypted emails will be accessible then? Should I decrypt all mails before certificate expires? Or is there an option to automatically save all emails in the mail box unencrypted even if they were sent / received using encryption? And finally, I guess all attachments will be encrypted as well, won't they?

I think the answers to those questions should be clear before one starts using this method.
