My roommate's mother just got off the phone and for some reason Teksavvy internet is not available to me. I live not even a kilometer from Algonquin COllege. |

| I do not currently have a phone number.
Edit: I do not know my future address but I just put in Algonquin College's and it says it does not know if it is available. I find it extremely unlikely that the area I'm going to be living in does not have Bell service. |

Call in to the teksavvy support and ask them, give them address details, etc. |

There's only two central offices around here, you're probably being served from the same one I am. | reply to Aturaten Funny I just posed in the direct forums the other day to check on this area, I'm moving there in a few weeks. One of the TSI guys checked several lines in my building (as I don't know the exact address) and said 512 was probably the best I could get
Even with two lines that would suck pretty bad, and I think the only other option in the area would be Rogers. Rogers who have hard caps and throttle worse than Bell from what I hear (tho it may vary).
If you find anything more out, post it here, I'd be glad to have some more options. |

| said by Aturaten :So, is this just due to line quality or is it something else? Distance mainly, 5 km max to the CO so the farther you are the slower the speed. No plans for expansions either. -- "If bullshit was money this guy would be richer that Bill Gates." - quote by olebiker on Mirko Bibic |

When I had them it went down at least once a month and I never got the advertised speed. I'm not sure if they're any better now but I know they've had to expand and upgrade because pretty much everyone uses Rogers around here. There is also 3web for cable but their service isn't too good support wise. -- "If bullshit was money this guy would be richer that Bill Gates." - quote by olebiker on Mirko Bibic |
