You should consider looking into Government Grants for people on Welfare to get job re-training for free and being a grant means you are not locked into a loan that you have to pay off later.

| Are you talking about Workforce? If so, I have already went that route . I have a very extensive criminal record that prevents me from being hired by anyone. LOL. I looked for a job for 4 yrs and never heard such crap in my life for excuses on why so and so wouldnt hire me (comments on my criminal record, ouch). Thanks for the info anyway. I will just keep doing what I do to make ends meet. Its not right but its better than living on the street like I used to. Back to the post. |

You have a PC and Internet Access with Electricity to run it so honestly, you can't afford not to buy it. Get last years edition on sale or find a used book store. As the cliche' goes, where there is a will, there is a way. If you won't work for yourself, then I don't see how you would be able to work for others.

| Regarding "MsMovieStar", this seems to be the typical kind of person that is interested in Morrison's system. Someone who is down on their luck financially and looking for a miracle. They're desperate and willing to take a chance and try just about anything. Morrison certainly isn't the only one out there raking in an income off these individuals but he's one of the worst simply because what seems to sell them in the end is his extreme "sincerity".
His story of his family losing everything appeals to them because they can relate to it and they believe that if he knows how they feel, certainly he wouldn't lead them astray. For that reason, I'm extremely happy to see that this forum has helped to spread the word and expose his company for what it truly is. A scam. |

Exactly -- Morrison's system seems to cater toward those who see the Internet as some sort of magical moneymaking machine, and that attending one of these seminars will make all of their problems disappear in an instant. In fact, most of the infomercials seem to focus on this crowd.
As for 14529656  's problems with the law.... Having an extensive criminal history is probably not a good idea if you're planning to acquire any kind of gainful employment. I don't think any of the Internet moneymaking schemes (even the semi-legitimate ones that have a slight chance of working) will work for hardened criminals.

Here's the bottom line: you signed up on DSLR today and showed up on this thread. A few folks gave you sound advice and suggest it would behoove you to pay attention to that advice. The plain truth is that NO ONE (you heard what I said: NO ONE...) remains jobless for 4 years unless they wish to remain jobless. I've seen this movie all too often before and don't buy off on the lame excuses regularly regurgitated by those wanting something for nothing. This is exactly why most of us consider the Morrison program an outright scam.

He or she might not know you, but he or she *DOES* know about this scam, maybe even firsthand (being a victim or something). Perhaps this anonymous poster does have firsthand experience being preyed on by Mr. Morrison's "opportunity" and is just trying to warn others. |

I can see where Mr Morrison would be successful, I too am down on my luck, on disability, lost a home to foreclosure due to limited disability income, lost my car, want to find anything I can do at home to support myself as I am fast approaching 60 years old and the future looks bleak.
But saying that, even I can do the math, all it takes is for around 35 to 40 people a month to pay the $4000 sign up fee for Mr Morrison to make $150K a month! And, since he has scheduled 4 days of conferences here in the Seattle area, I have no doubt he will get at least that many, so, he is getting his income from sign ups, not his actual program!
Glad I have the power of google to check this stuff out before hand! |
