Modem Provision

Hello. AT&T FastAccess customer here in Clarksville, TN.

Modem is showing:

Downstream Rate
256 (Kbits/Sec)

Upstream Rate
384 (Kbits/Sec)

However, I am paying for Xtreme service (3mbit download). Do you think this is an honest mistake or is there some reason my modem would incorrectly provision itself?

Reboot your modem (just in case) and go to your modem's admin page and post your line statistics. That will show if there is a problem with your line that could cause this.

You may also want to test your modem at the NID, but might as well wait on that until you check the stats in case it is something else. It could be that your service just hasn't been provisioned properly.

I'm not getting the advertised DSL speeds. What's wrong? What can I do?

call tech support and have them run a line test to determine what your issue is...
