Upgrade after switch from RCN in Redwood City?

I see a lot of negative posts about Astound. I must say, I was not happy to be hearing about switching off of my RCN to a new company after having such a pleasant experience with RCN.

Though so far with Astound I only had to change my static IP address and am now speed testing at around 13megabit down and 1.2 megabits upload speed. This was faster than my previous RCN that was about 10 down, 9000 kbps up.

Anyone else had a similar speed experience in Redwood City our surrounding areas?

I was with Astound before Wave took them over. At that time I had their 3mb download service, speed never varied, day or night. After Wave took control the evening speeds dropped. Since then Wave has given us increases in speed I'm currently on the 10/1mb plan. See the attached speed test take at 11pm tonight. Note my download speed is below the 3mb rock solid service I had before Wave.
