| Parting Thoughts
SBD had served me well since July, 2001. That said, I am disappointed in the way they have terminated my service. First, they charged my credit card through 7/31/08. Then Earthlink terminated my email accounts on 7/13/08, their billing cycle date. Then starting 7/15 I could connect to the SBD gateway but nothing connected to the internet. So, I called their number, they said no outages. So I kept trying, and finally pulled the plug on 7/17. Then I emailed customer service about a credit for the unused portion of the month, probably all of about the magnificent sum of $20. Guess what - no reply.
Really sad to see a good thing go to hell in a handbasket.
