They did turn me off so I called and told them I was down and they said they did that to get everyones attention and that they havent herd from me since 2007. He turned me back on and since my speeds have been awesome :P

But, yeah I do agree sprintbbd was pretty decent if you were a downloader.. I'll miss the speeds but thats about it.
RickT : SBD had served me well since July, 2001. That said, I am disappointed in the way they have terminated my service. First, they charged my credit card through 7/31/08. Then Earthlink terminated my email accounts on 7/13/08, their billing cycle date. Then starting 7/15 I could connect to the SBD gateway but nothing connected to the internet. So, I called their number, they said no outages. So I kept trying, and finally pulled the plug on 7/17. Then I emailed customer service about a credit for the unused portion of the month, probably all of about the magnificent sum of $20. Guess what - no reply.

Really sad to see a good thing go to hell in a handbasket. :(
--
HN9000 Spaceway III Home Plan, iMac PPC G5 10.4.11, Trendnet wireless
