| Charles Town WV -- "Anyone using an S3 TIVO HD ?
I'm considering a move from satellite TV to Comcast cable but would like to use a TIVO box. I'm interested in hearing from someone that might use an S3 with or without the cable-cards!
How much of the network HD/TV is in "clear QAM"?
Is the STB from Comcast a "quality piece"? What cable-cards are available? Suggestions? |

| I have 2 S3 Tivo's... only broadcast channels are in the clear.. thats it here... Comcast's boxes are a POS compared to Tivo... my tivo has 2 cable cards and it works great... just had a little bit of trouble getting the cards authorized... but that is their NOC's fault not tivo |

Indiana, PA | One more thing to point out even though you can get broadcast channels in the clear, tivo doesnt have guide info for QAM channels... only analog cable, cable card and over the air antenna digital channels |
