dicen posted : I have got to say, I have been on Sonic for sometime now and they definitely understand the "New TV". I have transferred massive amounts of data and never heard a word. Of course I make sure I pay for the highest tier ($60/month) but they haven't even bugged me once. Then again there is only so many hours in the day, so my traffic has really peaked anyway.

Now what is the "New TV"? You ever wonder why shows, that no one watches, that get canceled after 1 season, always peak your download? I mean, no one is seeding them, yet you get a full >400 KB/s on them. The reason is, the networks are seeding them. Yes, you read right. They seed their own shows. Why? Well, ever since the days of the VCR they realized no one watches the commercials anymore. But, you remember all those new cars and tucks in the show? How about that MacBook Pro and Ipod? Yep, those are commercials. New ratings trackers are now tracking "The New TV".

Cable companies hate, I mean hate, "The New TV". They get to charge you to watch shows, but they don't have to share that money with the shows themselves. So if you start using "their" Internet to watch "The New TV" instead of paying them, you will get dropped in no time at all.

Sonic is your new Television set and they know it. Long live Sonic.
