| Optimum business support is great
My wife has optimum for both an ISP and VOIP in both her offices and they have been great. I have never had to wait when I called customer support for an issue. When they had to send someone out they said they would be there in less than 2 hours and they showed up in 40 minutes and fixed the issue. Try that with ATT.
Oh did I mention they are a lot less expensive!
Their customer service on the business side is great. |

My brother was advised to swap out his voice modem by CV support at the local walk-in center due to problems with their connection dieing.
Problem was that they NEVER ported over the home number to the new modem. After several calls to support got him no where, he called me, I got the right people on the phone, and after SEVERAL hours without service, it was restored. -- RIAA/MPAA... Bite me!!!! Last I had BOOL it used different routing than the residential offering, but this was often worth shit when the UBR at the headend was congested to begin with. |

I have. Six weeks and six service calls and the issue still isn't resolved to my liking. --

| When we used ATT in our office I called them to fix a problem with line noise. In three visits to the office they did not fix it. Finally I opened the main telephone box on our building (it was not locked) and found the problem. Our phone line had a loose connection. I fixed it and it was fine. The technician was useless. |

| I've had 4 AT&T techs and 2 contract techs. Both contract techs say the line between the main and the NID needs to be replaced. The AT&T techs don't agree. Probably because it's under ground and they don't want to dig it up to fix it. Time will tell. It's working ok for now. We'll see what happens after the next big storm. --
