Conclusion: Athlon 64 2000+ is faster and less power hungry (but more expensive and so far no mini-itx form factor) ... but it's QUIETER!

$140 buys you a case (and a solid block power supply) along with a motherboard and Atom processor! Throw in $30 1GB of RAM and you're close to done
