 | Ease of Set Up? Weird. I always thought that Time Warner Cable installs VOIP for you, hence your set up is either "plug a new phone into an outlet" or just let the technician in. |

I thought that question was silly, actually, since you can't compare a managed VoIP and a Self-Serve VoIP the same. I don't see the likes of Fios, Comcast, Cox and TWC being "VoIP" as people here use the term (yes, they use VoIP) However, a self managed VoIP is not in the same class as managed.
The ease of setup could also be construed as what they went through to get the system installed from A to Z (calls, tech showing up, etc.) which then too skews that result. You can't compare calling a company, getting a tech dispatched and arriving on time to that of a sales call to someone that ships you a router in a box... two totally different mindsets from people..
Personally, I give PC Mag low ratings on this round of surveys. |
