I just had to know. You can't always tell by the number how serious the quake. There are all kinds and some with smaller numbers do more damage than some of the bigger ones. Depends on so many things, how deep and where it happens as well as how long it goes on and, yes, how intense are the aftershocks.
Many of us felt it down here in SD area but it wasn't much more then a slightly rolling feeling.
