I want to try connecting my D-Link wireless router to my Westell 7500 modem then connecting the D-Link to my Xbox 360 because the D-Link is Xbox approved and the Westell is not working with Xbox Live. Unfortunately the internet stops working when I connect the two and I'm not a real computer wiz can you offer any advice? |

You need to bridge the modem, so the Dlink will get the public IP, and relieve the Westell of responsibility of establishing the connection to the XBox.
